Ms. Gay Knoxville Postponed - Carousel II Hosts Katrina Benfit
The Ms. Gay Knoxville Pageant has been postponed until November the 13th, apparently due to Hurricane Katrina. The Carousel II, meantime, is hosting a benefit show on Wednesday, September 14th, to raise money for the Red Cross and victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Carousel II is also featuring most of the cast from the Rainbow Club West, as that local Knoxville establishment joins them for the event.
This Friday, the club is featuring (from Nashville) the lovely and talented Ms. Josephine Edwards. On Saturday (from Johnson City): former Ms. Gay USofA at Large, Ms Jacqueline
St. James.
